tv tandia is after a peaceful and prosperous world with ideas that communicate dev’t strategy. I'm more of an analyst with an interest in sharing and a passion for it. I share the Korean dev’t experience, better known as "economic miracle" with nations that are still way down the development ladder but willful to make an effort to move a step upwards. I hold a Ph.D. in Int’l Studies from Sogang Univ. My professional interests include comparative politics, political exit and transition, N. Korean politics and leadership, inter-Korean relations, N.E Asia security concerns, Middle East politics, peace, security and dev’t in Africa and int’l institutions. I’m less talented writing about myself but I hope your constant touch with me through this blog would help you write me better. As you read, remember that I just want to share what's up where I am and kick around some cool ideas 4 peace and dev’t. So I'll try not to make it suck such that you soon call me a crack-head. I look forward to one other thing, which is more like my rule: If you read something here, say something - for it's only by sharing that we can build and if we do so strategically, we can all arrive!

About Korea4Africa, Korea4theWorld

Welcome to tv's world of Strategic Sharing!!

This blog is principally dedicated to sharing the Korean Development Experience internationally to promote world peace, and prosperity. It has a mainstay on reviews, analysis and commentary on South Korean affairs in both the public and private domains with the sole objective of keeping the country significantly afloat as it marches onward, seeking a better purpose internationally in the age of globalization.

In it, I try to share almost everything (that inspires me) about everyday life in Korea (past and present). I try to stress the values that I believe have contributed to bring the country to its current envious economic level.

As impoverish as it was and almost of no meaningful international consequence barely half a Century ago, today, this country, like no other has come a long way, overcoming agonizing odds and marching almost unstoppably into a future full of promise and hope. I try not to pretend nor even insinuate that Korea is perfect. On the contrary, I take full cognizance of the fact that the country is facing challenges that need to be addressed. In fact, these problems are real, just like those that currently plague governments and citizens in other developing countries, especially in Africa. But efforts to overcome them can also be real. They relate to building a better society for mankind by fashioning a sense of purpose for its citizens. For my not too many years on earth, I have come to realize that human beings everywhere principally have the same essence of life - to live happily, taking pride in who they are, solace in what they stand for and hope in where they want to go! While as a people it is possible to achieve this by dreaming together, working hard together and sacrificing together, it is also possible that we end up only with versions of these that keep us further down. The views and ideas I express in this blog relate to my firm conviction of what Korea (as imperfect as it might be) could represent to Africa, what it could be to the world!

As you read through this blog, don't forget to check out the photo section for an amazing imagery of Korea. Hundreds of cool videos are also available for you on the video portal.
